Class winner of the 2001 Marion-Bermuda Race, the Alden Yachts 54 is a modern, high performance sailing machine with classically beautiful lines. Widely considered to be one of the World's most beautiful yachts, her balance and feather light helm is legendary. Her hull is built entirely of epoxy resins and E-glass/Kevlar laminates, then vacuum bagged and post thermal cured. Main structural bulkheads are also composite. Light but incredibly strong, she has a very low center of gravity and high limit of positive stability. Her patented keel system allows her to be converted from deep draft to shoal draft or back in a matter of hours.. |

A world capable passage
maker, the 54 makes an ideal "family" yacht. She is spacious with good light and ventilation and has an excellent working galley. Interior carpentry is executed in the owner's choice of both woods and joinery style and finished to the legendary standard of all Alden Yachts. Her large, deep cockpit
can comfortably accommodate up to eight people and moving about on deck
is safe and secure with wide side decks and ample handholds. For more information contact Alden Yachts at 401.683.4200 |
