On Friday, September 13th, at the Alden Yachts facility in Portsmouth Rhode Island, Dick Haworth celebrated the christening of "Mohican", his new Alden Yachts 56' hardtop express.

The entire Alden Yachts staff was on hand to join Mr. Haworth in toasting the completion of the project, more than one year and 19,000 man hours after commencing the building of "Mohican".

With her teak decks, oversized swim platform and box beam ceilings, this is perhaps one of the most beautiful boats Alden Yachts has built to date.

To reach her home port on lake Michigan, "Mohican" made her maiden voyage up the scenic Hudson River Valley through the Erie Canal and into the Great Lakes. An impressive fall setting for an equally impressive yacht.

"Mohican" is hull #15 in the 50/56 series. For more information contact Alden Yachts at 401.683.4200 or email at pressrelease@aldenyachts.com
